Enovix technology is a special architecture of battery cells, the cathodes and anodes of which are made of silicon. This is a startup’s own development, which wins against competitors due to the increased density of charge storage in the same volume. In total, batteries can withstand more than a thousand charge cycles and lose no more than 7% of their capacity.
Enovix claims that such batteries can be used not only in electric vehicles, but also for energy storage in both domestic and industrial formats.
