Vertical Aerospace makes its first takeoff on a VX4 prototype

So far, the British startup has provided few details about the eVTOL flight other than confirming that Chief Test Pilot Justin Paynes was at the controls and that the machine hovered about one meter above the ground for 10 minutes.

The flight took place in a hangar at Kemble Airport in the west of England, where full flight tests will also take place.
