And this means that Elon Musk’s company received a response from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which ordered 75 changes to be made at the Starbase launch site in Texas. Then, perhaps, a license to operate the expanded site and fly from here will be obtained.
Which changes? Including those that will ensure the ecological safety of the region: clean air, sound volume, regular monitoring of local wildlife. According to the FAA, the site must fully comply with safety requirements.
There are no guarantees that SpaceX will receive a license from the FAA, but the team does not lose optimism. Moreover, she has strong allies in the face of NASA.
