NASA, the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), the European Space Agency (ESA), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and Roscosmos took part in the meeting of the ISS Coordinating Council. They discussed various issues, including the use of the ISS, the conduct of scientific activities on board, possible scenarios after the decommissioning of the station, as well as the extension of the station’s operation beyond 2024. The most important result of the negotiations was the unanimous decision of all participants to continue work on the ISS after 2024.
